Crondall Parish is the largest parished area in Hart, spreading out around the ancient village of Crondall. Crondall is situated in north east Hampshire and is all that remains of the Crondall Hundred which was surveyed in the Domesday Book of 1086. The village is on gentle slopes of the low western end of the North Downs. The village is centered around the shop, church and school and served by two high quality pubs making it extremely attractive to young families, while sheltered accommodation provides care for the older generation. Crondall is within Hart District, which in the past few years has been voted the UK’s most desirable place to live based on the quality of life The historic heart of the village is protected by a Conservation Area and spread throughout the village are a variety of Grade I, II and “locally listed” buildings. Within the village the Norman Church stands out as one of the best examples in southern England.
